We celebrate diverse perspectives and foster an environment where you can thrive, innovate, and make a real impact in the lives of patients.The Staff Pharmacist will prepare, compounds, dispense, and sell prescriptions and Pharmacy-related products, answer patient questions, participate in patient assistance and other quality assurance programs.This position is part of the Operations department in Boca Raton, FL and will be located On Site. You will be part of the Florida site team and report directly to the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)]. • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Prescription Filling: 200 Prescriptions a day and validating 200 a day
• Assisting with the direction and monitoring of Pharmacy personnel and performanceas directed
• Preparing, compounding, dispensing, and selling prescriptions and Pharmacy-relatedproducts
• Properly securing and maintaining controlled substances
• Following proper Pharmacy and regulatory safety procedures and standards
• Overseeing return to stock processing
• Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding pharmaceutical questions
• Providing patient/ clients with counseling and education
• Monitoring storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals
• Maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
• Documenting and reporting medication errors to the PICThe essential requirements of the job include:
  • Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Active pharmacist license in FloridaIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
    • Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy
    • Flexibility to work variable shifts as needed
    • Strong understanding of medication administration and pharmacology principles
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
