Senior Software Engineer - EQRT ServicesEQRT Services (PM Tools) is a front office team responsible for the design, development and support of various technology platforms that enable our businesses to research & develop strategies, create simulated trade books, back test, and assess the risk and factor analytics of various live and paper portfolios intraday and end of day.Responsibilities include:

• Work with the R&D and application development teams to assist in research, design, prototype and implementation of next generation high-performance real time analytics solutions in the industry
• Assist the team in building out a market leading portfolio management platform by working directly with the business
• Work with different technologies in order to provide the state-of-the-art intraday analytics platforms used in various risk and portfolio management systems across the entire firm
• Contribute to application development, project management, and architecture of highly scalable real time platforms
• Lead a small group of engineers on the team and take ownership of few productsQualifications, Skills and Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in C++ and Python application development on Linux along with basic understanding of the Linux operating system
  • Experience in multi-threaded C++/multiprocessing Python along with profiling and optimizing platforms
  • Experience working with grid scheduling and compute orchestration for real time compute management at scale (Technologies like SLURM)
  • Experience with event driven architecture using message bus and caching technologies like kafka, pulsar, mem cache, redis etc.
  • Experience working with various monitoring tools like Datadog, ELK stack etc.
  • Familiarity with Database technologies - Advanced SQL, NoSQL, Time-series databases (Kdb)
  • Excellent grasp of data structures and algorithms and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
  • A strong interest in financial markets and a desire to work directly with investment professionals
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help othersNice-to-have
    • Experience building large-scale real-time portfolio analytics tools
    • Experience building portfolio optimization tools in EQ space
