Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Specialist (Commercial
Middle Market).
Key Responsibilities
Review applications and financial requirements to assess risk
acceptability according to guidelines
Manage assigned portfolio to achieve premium, profitability, and
retention goals
Build and maintain relationships with producers to drive sales and
performance
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
3+ years of related experience in underwriting
Knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, and evaluation
tools
Ability to interact with various business partners effectively
Strong negotiation skills and sound business judgment
Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects
